"My Heart Beats For You"

Is there such a thing as a Valentines Day art exhibit? You bet your box of chocolates there is! And it's at the Painted Temple Tattoo Studio & Art Gallery in Provo!

I'll be showing some Valenteeny-tinies I made and three of my all-time favourite artists also have valentines showing. What's not to love about Andrew Christensen, Kelly Larsen and Andy Bean?

Holiday Soiree

Mark your calendars: this Saturday night from 6:30-8 you can be a part of the local visual arts scene by hitting up the SCERA Art Studios' Holiday Soiree! I've been able to hang out with the students and they have such great enthusiasm for creating in all sorts of media and enough talent to fill an olympic swimming pool!

The Soiree kicks off Saturday with an opening reception featuring the students' work and some remarks from stained-glass artist Tom Holdman. Yes: Tom Holdman. You've seen the Orem library's incredible windows---Tom's the man responsible and you can hear him out this Saturday.

Then, during the first two weeks in December, the SCERA Art Studios will host several holiday-themed art/craft workshops, including a Paper Arts workshop by yours truly.

Truth, Youth & Ecstasy Exhibit

Patric Bates is the man. He hosted an amazing art show this past Saturday inside a model home! Complete with music from a record player, a giant coloring book page, rooms filled with great pictures and real-live party conversation, the show was down with the disease.

A special Extended-Version of the show, with more artists, more party, and a live drawing festival will be held this Saturday at the model home. Check out the Truth, Youth & Ecstasy website for more info and photos from the show. 

Truth, Youth and Ecstasy

Tonight is the grand opening of Truth, Youth and Ecstasy, an experimental art show held in a model home in Eagle Mountain. 

My good friends Patric (curator) and Bryan Bates will be among the several artists participating. There will be just as many mediums and styles as their are artists and its gonna be two parties in one!

I'll be showing some brand-new paper cut-outs that will be for sale as Pay As You Please. This means you can set a price on a picture (with or without the frame) and I won't try and bargain with you. Try and keep in mind the thought, time, and materials I've put into the picture.

The show opens at 7, at 2138 Horizon Drive, Eagle Mountain Utah. See you there!

Ghost-Rider

Check out this and other new paper cut-outs at the Mode Boutique, Friday November 8 from 6-9pm. The show will be up all of November and will be waiting patiently, with its hands neatly folded in its lap, just for you.
